Why We Do What We Do

Alfonso met Smile Power at the airport in Cochabamba and helped us all week.
He had just just turned 14 last March when we were in Bolivia.

Alfonso is doing well in school and still studying English. He has learned enough
English to help interpret for us when we are working with other orphans
and students.

He volunteers at the orphanage for babies and young children, which is the facility where we first met him.

We know that he takes good care of his back, and we know that he is grateful for the chance he has been given to grow up. He sends his love to all his friends back here in the U.S.
